My fitness gift guide for every budget
As Christmas approaches the gift buying crunch has officially begun.
Looking for some ideas for the fitness or wellness junky in your life? Well, I’ve got the answers, and for every price point too!
If you’re looking to help build your loved one’s home gym why not check out these PowerBlocks! These weights are adjustable so they can be used for a number of different exercises and collapse together to be stored in even the tiniest condos. Strength training is important for everyone so there is no doubt your fitness buff will love these weights!
For those on your list who have wanderlust in their heart and working-out on their mind why not gift them resistance bands! These bands make a great inexpensive gift (think $15-30) and can bring the gym to any hotel room. They’re multi-purpose and super packable so they make working out on the road a breeze.
We’re all adults here, we can finally admit that receiving clothes for Christmas is amazing! And I can’t think of a better gift for the Athleisure lover on your list than some more gym-ready outfits. Some of my favourite pieces are from Alo but you can always find out your friend’s favourite brand with a little sleuthing and grab them a great new pair of leggings or a tank!
Looking for something to help your loved one on their fitness journey? Well here are some great companions that the fitness-obsessed will love!
There are some great apps available to all your smart-phone savvy people on our list wanting to spice up their in-gym or at-home workout! You can gift your loved one a subscription to the Peloton app. The app is much more than cycling they have classes for everything under the sun.
Looking for a more personal class gift for your loved one? Why not give the gift of Kathleen! Check out my Kick your Ass with Compassion online coaching sessions starting January 5th 2020. It’s the perfect gift for the person on your list looking to start 2020 on the right foot!
For all those looking for a free, yes I said free, gift option for your loved one why not go retro and make them a digital mixtape. Platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music allow you to make and share some great pump up playlists for your loved one’s next workout. Don’t forget some of my favs like Britney, Dolly, and of course the Backstreet Boys!
Need another free gift idea, why not become your loved-ones workout buddy? Give the gift of company and motivation, try creating coupons for a run together or a workout at any time to give both of you the motivation to make it to that 5:45 a.m. spin class.
For the scholarly athlete on your list why not give them the gift of knowledge? There are some great books out there to help build their healthy lifestyle, why not check out something from Brené Brown, The Mindful Athlete by George Mumford or maybe even my book Your Future Fittest Self by Kathleen Trotter.
I hope you’ve found some great ideas for the fitness junkies on your list at any price range!
