Do you shift when doing the bird dog? Does your pelvis drop when you are doing a plank? What about when you do a side plank? Are you rotating your upper body or pelvis? Try using an external feedback cue. Place a foam roller on your back when doing a plank or bird dog or line your body up against a wall when doing a side plank.
