Globe & Mail Stealth Workout: Pillow Power

You’ve been sitting all day, haven’t you? Treat yourself to this feel-good upper-body stretch when you get home.

Lay two pillows lengthwise – the thicker, the better – to lie down on. Make sure your pelvis and head are supported. 2. Release your arms out to the side, palms up, so that your body forms a T. Hold for 30 seconds. Try doing this stretch daily. (Want a more intense chest stretch? Try replacing the pillows with a foam roller.)
