Blueberry Basil Smoothie

Here’s a gelato-inspired smoothie from HEAL Nutrition. Rich in antioxidants and quite refreshing. Great for breakfast or dessert! The blue in blueberries comes from anthrocyanidins, powerful antioxidants that are also high in vitamin C, and contain manganese, vitamin E and B1.

Ingredients
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup fresh basil
- 1 handful kale
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 lime squeeze
- 1 tsp chlorella
- 1 scoop favourite protein powder Progressive Veg Essential
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Instructions
But all ingredients in the blender and puree until smooth
Add more or less liquid for your ideal texture
Recipe Notes
To make into a dessert pudding, use only 1 cup of liquid and let stand for 20 mins for chia seeds to gelatinize a little.
